There is growing tension in Abuja, Nigeria’s capital city following multiple reports of sporadic gun fire along with heavy sirens alarms around certain parts of the city, particularly around Eagle Square, central area at midnight.

This development raises concerns as it comes only hours after the US president, Donald Trump issued a strong warning of war to the Nigerian government over Christian genocide claims in the country.
