Brighton manager Roberto De Zerbi and Germany boss Julian Nagelsmann are among the leading contenders for the Bayern Munich coaching position.
Roberto De Zerbi, currently managing Brighton, is hesitant to commit to the club for the next season amid speculation linking him to managerial positions at Bayern Munich and Liverpool. He seeks discussions with Brighton owner Tony Bloom regarding his future. Meanwhile, Bayern Munich is considering the return of Julian Nagelsmann, although they have not reached a final decision.
Sky Germany reports that De Zerbi and Nagelsmann are the primary candidates for the Bayern Munich managerial role. Additionally, Xabi Alonso has opted to remain at Bayer Leverkusen, declining interest from Bayern Munich and Liverpool. Bayern’s sporting director, Max Eberl, holds De Zerbi in high regard and is aware of a potential exit clause in his contract, estimated to be between €10m-€15m (£8.5m-£12.8m).
