According to research from marketing company Ahrefs, Haaland ranked first among 430 Premier League players based on Instagram followers, average monthly global searches, and TikTok popularity.
The 24-year-old Norwegian striker has over 38 million Instagram followers and an average of 2.5 million monthly searches worldwide, which is a Premier League record.

TikTok users have also boosted his fame, with 184,100 posts under the hashtag #ErlingHaaland.These data have helped Manchester City rank as the most marketable team in the Premier League, with a perfect score of 30.
Meanwhile, Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah, with an amazing 63.3 million Instagram followers, is the second most marketable player, trailing only Haaland.
His TikTok fame, as evidenced by over 202,100 uploads with the hashtag #MoSalah, demonstrates his global appeal.
Aside from Haaland and Salah, a number of other players have shown strong market appeal.
