Man United in final stages of finalizing deal to sign Matheus Cunha for £62.5m
Matheus Cunha is close to completing his move from Wolverhampton to Manchester United.
According to Fabrizio Romano, United are well progressed in their negotiations and confident that Cunha will be the first signing in the summer window. All of them – the player’s representatives, the board of United, key figures like Ruben Amorim- are walking in the same line.

Reports in Brazil have also said that talks between the parties have entered into their final phase after what Globo called “important” earlier progress.
One reason United are chasing him is that he suits Ruben Amorim’s favorite 3-4-2-1 formation.
I’ve had the opportunity to publicly enjoy the versatility and goals output of Cunha.
The United manager also seemed to talk to Cunha after that match between United and Wolves at Molineux, and then again in the tunnel at Old Trafford on Sunday.

Admission of British tabloids on Sunday is reporting that Manchester United have reached the final stages in their negotiations for all the necessary requirements to sign Brazilian forward Matheus Cunha for a trumpeting £62.5 million.
The 25-year-old is known for his dynamic attacking flair and technical brilliance and has impressed scouts with his versatility across the front line.
To that end, United will bolster their attacking options ahead of next season, and Cunha, formerly of Atlético Madrid and Hertha Berlin, is set to become a cog in Erik ten Hag’s vision for a swifter, more clinical frontline.
The sources indicate, however, that personal terms are already signed off, with only minor details to settle.

The fans are thus hopeful that Cunha will add the much-needed freshness and the required firepower to the quest for titles from the Red Devils.
