£167MILLION-per-year contract offer Cristiano Ronaldo to announce Al-Nassr exit.
Cristiano Ronaldo’s departure from Al-Nassr is expected to be officially announced today.
On Monday, Ronaldo hinted at his exit by telling his social media followers that this chapter of his career is over. He wrote on his X account, “This chapter is over.

The story? Still being written. Grateful to all,” following Al-Nassr’s third-place finish in the league.
While his next move remains uncertain, there is speculation that he could join Major League Soccer (MLS), a club in Brazil, Turkey, Sporting Lisbon, or another team in Saudi Arabia. Reports suggest he was close to finalizing a new deal worth £167 million per year with Al-Nassr before deciding to leave.

During his time in the Middle East, Ronaldo scored 99 goals for Al-Nassr. According to the Spanish outlet Marca, his departure will soon be confirmed in a press conference by the club.
In other news, talkSPORT reports that Al-Nassr is interested in signing Liverpool’s Luis Diaz, whose contract runs until 2027, making him their top target.
At 40 years old, Ronaldo is eager to reach 1,000 career goals, a milestone that may require two or three more seasons of consistent scoring, as he currently has 936 goals.
There is also speculation that he could join Al-Hilal, a rival Saudi club that will participate in the revamped Club World Cup.
Last week, FIFA President Gianni Infantino stirred excitement by suggesting that Ronaldo might play in the tournament this summer, even though Al-Nassr did not qualify.

Infantino mentioned, “Ronaldo might play for one of the teams in the Club World Cup. There are discussions.
If any club is interested in hiring Ronaldo for the Club World Cup, who knows what could happen.”
