While Liverpool is also interested in Alonso as a potential successor to Jurgen Klopp, reports suggest he has given Bayern a positive initial response during talks. The 42-year-old’s transfer fee is estimated to be between £12.8 million and £21.3 million (€15 million – €25 million).
