Speaking in Enugu on Friday during the inauguration of SERHA’s Enugu State chapter, Enwere emphasized that President Bola Tinubu has demonstrated a clear commitment to the development and inclusion of the South-East region in his administration’s agenda.
He noted that under Tinubu’s leadership, the zone has witnessed increased federal attention, dismissing claims that the region has been sidelined.
This comes in the wake of opposition parties earlier this week adopting the African Democratic Congress (ADC) as their official platform to challenge Tinubu’s re-election bid in 2027 — a move seen by some as a strategic attempt to sway key regional support.
