After significant complains over the massive failure during the first UTME, JAMB rescheduled the test. The board acknowledged that human and technical mistakes, particularly in South-East states and Lagos, had a major impact on the performance of the applicants.

More over 1.5 million of the 1.9 million applicants who took this year’s UTME received scores below 200 out of 400, which alarmed several stakeholders.

After constant pressure, JAMB looked into the widespread failure and found both human and technical mistakes in its system.

Dr. Fabian Benjamin, the spokesperson for JAMB, told news men on Monday that the results of the rescheduled tests would be made public on Wednesday.
