President Bola Tinubu has described his administration as one that listens, plans, and delivers its promises to Nigerians.
Tinubu made the claim while noting that the era of neglect for the Satellite Towns in the capital city are over.
He disclosed this during the commissioning of the Water Supply Network To Karu Satellite Town as part of projects to mark Tinubu’s third year anniversary.
According to the FCT minister: “It’s with a deep sense of fulfilment and gratitude that I stand with you to commission the water supply network to Karu and its environs.
“Today we declare that the era of neglect of our Satellite Towns is officially over. When we launched the Renewed Hope Agenda, we made a sacred covenant with the Nigerian people, we promised that governance will no longer be a theatrical exercise confined to the board rooms of the city centres while our people in the periphery struggle for basic amenities.
“We promised a government that listens, plans, and crucially that delivers.
“Just a year ago when we commissioned the Abuja Greater Water Supply project, I stood b fore the nation and gave a directive, I said the metropolitan loops must not end in the elite districts, the must extend into the satellite towns where the heart beat of Abuja working population resides.
Additionally, president Tinubu applauded the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Nyesom Wike for his leadership.

Amid the commissioning of multiple projects across the city, the FCT minister revealed some of his health struggles when he shared how he embarked on fasting and prayers to ensure he got funds to complete some construction projects in the capital city.
The minister also said that he suffered some measure of hypertension in his bid to source for funds for road projects.
Wike made these claims at the commissioning of the newly constructed Airport Expressway to Kuje road by President Bola Tinubu.

Meanwhile, Tinubu has delivered what appeared to be his strongest public endorsement yet of the FCT minister, Nyesom Wike, affirming that the former Rivers State governor has justified the confidence placed in him to transform Abuja into a modern capital city.

Tinubu further praised Wike for spearheading the construction of roads, water projects, judicial infrastructure and other urban renewal initiatives that have reshaped parts of the nation’s capital city within a short time frame.
