President Bola Tinubu’s administration had been deemed an unsuitable candidate by the Peoples Democratic Party, which claimed that no patriotic Nigerian will support his reelection in the 2027 presidential contest.
Debo Ologunagba, the PDP’s national publicity secretary, told reporters in Abuja on Monday that the party is the only one capable of defeating President Tinubu and the All Progressive Senate.
The All Progressives Congress Director of Publicity, Bala Ibrahim, responded by saying that the PDP is in critical condition right now and is hence unable to render any reliable political judgement.

Ibrahim claimed in an exclusive interview that patriotic Nigerians have already given President Tinubu their support because he has given them hope again through significant reforms and that he is confident that Nigerians will support him in 2027.
Despite the commotion around defections, Ologunagba underlined that the party is still strong and that its members’ devotion is its real strength.
