2027: Leave NDC if you feel unfairly treated – Bashir Ahmad advises Kwankwaso.

Former presidential aide, Bashir Ahmad, has urged the vice-presidential candidate of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), Rabi’u Kwankwaso, to exit the party if he believes he is being treated unfairly.

Bashir Ahmad made the statement in a post on his verified X handle on Monday, while reacting to the replacement of some candidates earlier submitted by the Kwankwasiyya faction in Kano State to the NDC.

He argued that if Kwankwaso truly feels sidelined by the party’s national leadership, then leaving the NDC would be the most appropriate option.

According to him, Kwankwaso should instead join a platform that aligns with his political ambitions and allows him to compete freely, rather than remain in a party where he feels restricted or marginalised.
