Super Eagles in-form striker Victor Osimhen has been heavily linked with a move to Manchester United. This transfer rumor has been going on for weeks, and the Red Devils’ initial bid has been rejected.
However, it seems Manchester United are more desperate, especially as Ruben Amorim seems to have lost confidence in the quality of finishers in his squad presently.
Osimhen, who is valued at £57 million by Napoli, has scored 11 goals in 14 matches for his loan club, Galatasaray, in the Turkish league.
Experts are saying Osimhen is what Manchester United needs to solve its goal-scoring problems. The Nigerian international has fitted in well with the Galatasaray squad ever since embarking on his season-long loan from Napoli.
According to Footy Stats, the striker has taken 52 shots in 14 matches so far in Turkish topflight this season, with his shooting accuracy pegged at 46.15%.
However, there have been no comments from the striker on which club he wants to join, as a host of English Top Premier League clubs are also after his signature.
