Gombe State’s People’s Democratic Party Concerned Youth on Monday endorsed former Vice President Atiku Abubakar’s 2027 presidential campaign.
According to a press release signed by Abubakar Pantami, the secretary, and Ismail Gombe, the chairman of the Concerned PDP Youth in Gombe State, Atiku is “one of the most qualified hopefuls to lead Nigeria under the PDP in 2027,” citing his history in education, business, and experience.
Atiku was urged to withdraw from active politics by the group, which denied allegations made by an alleged anonymous group headed by Jamilu Adamu Danjarida.
The group called on Atiku to run for president in 2027 under the PDP, promising to provide him with all of their support and backing, expressing concern over the harm done to Nigeria’s political and economic landscape by the APC government.
The group stated that, “The PDP is the solution to the country’s challenges, and Atiku’s leadership would be instrumental in reversing the damage done by the APC,”
“We urge all PDP members and supporters to rally behind his potential candidacy,” the statement added.
According to the group in Gombe State, they are committed to making a big impact in the 2027 elections and will stop at nothing to help Atiku’s possible candidacy and guarantee the Peoples democratic party wins.
“We believe in Atiku’s leadership qualities, experience, and vision for Nigeria.
“Together, we can build a better Nigeria,” the statement concluded.
