The NDLEA boss made this request during a courtesy visit to his office in Abuja, by the NYSC Director General. Marwa called for a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the two agencies which would streamline their areas of cooperation.

General Marwa wished the NYSC Chief Executive a prosperous term in office and congratulated him on his appointment.

Earlier in his speech, Nafiu praised Marwa’s accomplishments at the NDLEA and other places, as well as the imposing accomplishments that served as reminders of his tenure as Lagos State Governor.

Regarding the NDLEA Chairman’s request for certified drug integrity testing for potential Corps Members, General Nafiu stated that while it is a good idea, the NYSC is unable to take any action because it is a policy problem, particularly since the Scheme’s enabling Act did not provide for it.
