Cardi B Breaks Silence: Says Her Bold Personality Attracts Drama and Controversy

Controversial American rapper, Cardi B, has stated that despite not being a fan of drama or controversy, they seem to follow her because of her personality.

The rapper, who recently stirred public attention after revealing her pregnancy with NFL star Stefon Diggs — while still in the midst of a divorce from her husband, fellow rapper Offset — believes she is being unfairly targeted by the media.

Cardi B acknowledged, however, that her outspoken nature and strong presence often contribute to the controversies surrounding her.

“I didn’t think I was that much drama. When I was in high school and I was voted most dramatic in my high school yearbook, I was surprised. I don’t like drama, it just follows me. Sometimes, certain things just followed certain people,” Cardi B tells CBS.

“When you have like a big personality like me or when you have a mouth like me or whatever aura that I give, it [drama] will follow you because it makes you like an easier target. I don’t like drama. It stresses me.”
