Nyesom Wike, the minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), has promised to keep his political rivals up at night.
Wike claimed that as long as he is on the side of the law, his rivals in the African Democratic Congress (ADC), the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), and the All Progressives Congress (APC) will have restless nights.
The Minister disclosed this on Thursday at a media briefing shortly after the FCT Executive Committee meeting.

He said this while defending his altercation with Lieutenant AM Yerima, a naval officer, over a land dispute in Abuja’s Gaduwa neighbourhood.
The plot of land which was allocated for Parks and Recreation was being altered by the owner, a former Chief of Naval Staff, Awwal Gambo (retd).
Efforts by officials of the FCTA to prevent workers from illegally converting the land from the original allocation failed as military officers were assigned to the site and prevented them from carrying out their duty.

Aggrieved by this move, Wike stormed the site in company of his escorts but they were prevented from gaining access to the property by the Yerima and the military officers.
The action of Yerima and the military officers quickly escalated into a heated altercation with Wike and the situation had since degenerated into a national outrage.

However, Wike said: “I have no regret of my political opponents, I will continue to make them have sleepless nights, whether you are in PDP, APC, or ADC.
“I have no regrets, in as much as I know that I’m standing by the law, if you like bring any ethnicity and colouration, it’s your business.”
