Popular TikTok personality Peller has broken his silence following his arrest and detention by the Lagos State Police Command over an incident involving dangerous driving and an alleged suicide attempt.
In a video circulated on social media, the content creator expressed remorse over his actions and appealed to the public for forgiveness, saying, “I am sorry, Nigerians.
Please, I’m sorry. I will never do that again. I’m very sorry, please. For now, I am on medication. Once I am done with my medication, I will be online.”

The incident is reportedly connected to Peller’s recent breakup with his girlfriend, Jarvis.
Earlier, Jarvis had confirmed their breakup, stating that Peller’s inability to control her emotions was a big factor in her decision to leave.
According to the Lagos State Police Command, which confirmed the situation, Peller was taken into custody after his acts were judged to be a major threat to other drivers and a calculated attempt at self-harm.
Police reports reveal that Peller was allegedly witnessed driving recklessly while livestreaming on social media on Sunday, December 14, 2025. This alleged behaviour is said to have caused a serious accident on the Lekki–Epe Motorway in Lagos.
The State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID) has been tasked with conducting a comprehensive investigation, according to the authorities, who also stated that Peller will be arraigned in court following the completion of the inquiry.

In response to the event, Olohundare Jimoh, the Commissioner of Police, cautioned digital content producers and social media influencers not to promote or display dangerous behaviour online, stressing that such actions may result in severe repercussions.
