Peter Obi, the 2023 Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate, has been warned by public affairs analyst Donald Okwuosa not to join the African Democratic Congress (ADC) before the 2027 election.
He claimed that Peter Obi would become a desperate political hustler if he left the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), LP, and another political party.
On Monday, December 29, 2025, he made this statement in an exclusive conversation with Legit.ng. According to the public administrator, if Obi stays in the Labour Party, more Nigerians will follow him.

In an exclusive interview with Legit.ng on Monday, December 29, 2025, Donald Okwuosa made this claim, adding that if Peter Obi stays in the Labour Party, more Nigerians will follow him.
“He should remain in the Labour Party, where he is already rooted. Running from one party to another makes him a political pr0stitute and sends out a signal of desperation. I love his calmness and confidence.”
He further warned the former Anambra State governor that the ADC coalition would not last. He3 said, “More people would join the Labour Party because of Obi. ADC won’t last. Once Atiku sees no future for himself in ADC, he would pull out as usual and crash the structure/party.
In advance of the 2027 general election, Okwuosa said that Atiku Abubakar, the former vice president, had taken over the ADC coalition.
“Atiku is refusing to backdown, he has hijacked the ADC already and is dishing out the terms. Obi can’t be boxed.”
Recall that Atiku and Obi are contesting for the presidential ticket of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) ahead of the 2027 elections.
Meanwhile, the national Coordinator of the Obidient Movement, Yunusa Tanko, has said that Peter Obi will soon announce the party he would contest through in the 2027 general elections.
