The Ondo State Government has issued a strong warning to individuals and groups against the vandalism and unauthorized installation of campaign billboards, banners, and other political materials across the state.

The directive comes ahead of political campaigns, as authorities stress the importance of maintaining public order and safeguarding the integrity of the democratic process.
Property owners and campaign teams were urged to comply with the regulations to avoid penalties.

Head of the agency, Mr Yomi Oyekan, highlighted that acts of vandalism not only damage property but also disrupt the peace and fairness of political campaigns.
The agency called on residents and political stakeholders to respect the rules and engage responsibly in the electoral process.
The warning is part of a broader effort by the Ondo State government to ensure that political campaigns are conducted peacefully, without destruction of property or intimidation of candidates.
