The Nigerian military has announced that it is set to integrate over 700 repentant terrorists into the society following rehabilitation.
This was disclosed during a media tour of a new facility in preparation for the graduation ceremony.
The military also denied claims that clients of Operation Safe Corridor are being recruited into military institutions.

Coordinator of Operation Safe Corridor, Brigadier-General Yusuf Ali, revealed this during a media tour of facilities at the Deradicalisation, Rehabilitation and Reintegration Centre in Gombe, North-East Nigeria.
Brigadier-General Ali also added that many Nigerians do not fully understand the Federal Government’s organised counterterrorism campaign under Operation Safe Corridor.
He noted that the programme aims to restore peace in communities affected by terrorism nationwide.

Meanwhile, some of the participants at the camp explained their involvement in the crimes as part of the admission process into Operation Safe Corridor.
This moves comes amid worsening insecurity crisis and terrorists attacks across North-East and North central states in the nation.

Some of the affected states include; Borno, Kwara, Plateau, Benue, Sokoto, among others.
Correspondingly, the media tour of the facility is in preparation for the graduation ceremony of over 700 repentant terrorists who have been deradicalised, rehabilitated, and are ready to be reintegrated into their communities.
