BACKSTORY

Nyesom Wike has been embroiled in a series of backlash and criticism in recent times. The minister has been at the centre of the PDP leadership crisis with many political figures accusing him of working for the ruling APC.

Additionally, the minister also made rounds over his fallout with River State governor, Fubara . A feud that left the entire state in political crisis which eventually led to Fubara’s suspension along with all members of his cabinet for 6 months.
