As he uses the flat iron, she encourages him, saying, “There you go.” The father, speaking in Igbo, asks, “Is it now good?” She responds, “Is it straight? It doesn’t look straight.” He confidently replies, “Yes, it’s straight.”
She then guides him to continue working on the back of her hair, emphasizing, “Make sure the top is straight.” He diligently follows her instructions, straightening the specific areas she points out.
After a while, he stops to let her check his progress, complimenting her in Igbo with, “It is good.” Despite his reassurance, she points out more areas that need attention. He patiently continues to use the flat iron to perfect her hair, ensuring she is satisfied with the final result.
