Charles Soludo has stated that Anambra State and the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) will support President Bola Tinubu in the 2027 presidential election.
Soludo made this known during a meeting with members of the City Boy Movement, Anambra State chapter, saying his political choices are driven by what he believes benefits the people of Anambra and the wider Igbo community.
Soludo explained that he follows what he calls “politics of evidence,” pointing to federal approval of the state’s proposed aerotropolis as a free economic trade zone as an example of positive collaboration with the current administration.
He noted that the approval came very quickly, describing it as one of the fastest responses he has seen from the federal government.
While emphasizing that All Progressives Grand Alliance remains independent, he said it shares progressive ideals and should continue working with the federal government for regional development.
He added that political cooperation among progressive forces is important for advancing the interests of the South-East and driving development in Anambra State.
