Fight against terror a national duty, not just military – Tinubu
Meanwhile, this comes as President Bola Tinubu has applauded Nigeria’s security personnel for their courage and sacrifices in the fight against terrorism, banditry, kidnapping, and other security threats across the country. In a message addressed to members of the Armed Forces and other security agencies on his X handle on Monday, Tinubu praised troops serving on the front lines, further describing them as a shield protecting innocent citizens and preserving the nation’s peace and stability.

He said, “You stand as a shield between innocent citizens and those who seek to destroy the peace, safety, and dignity of our communities.”
