Nigerian content creator and influencer Tunde Perry has alleged that fellow content creator Peller remains in police custody, raising concerns over his prolonged detention.
Tunde made the claim amid growing speculation over Peller’s absence from social media in recent days.
According to him, Peller was arrested on Friday while returning home from a content shoot in the Lekki area of Lagos.
He alleged that the arrest was linked to Peller driving a vehicle with tinted windows and without a number plate.
Speaking during a TikTok live session, Tunde Perry claimed that Peller had remained at the police station since Friday, explaining that his continued detention was the reason for his silence on social media.
He further stated that although the incident initially occurred in Lekki, the case had since been transferred to Ikeja.
The alleged arrest reportedly came shortly after Peller had an encounter with a group of area boys at the filming location, where they were said to have demanded ₦250,000 from him.
A review of Peller’s social media activity also indicates that his last public post was made on Friday, further fueling concerns among his followers.
Peller is one of Nigeria’s popular online personalities, known for his comedy skits, livestreams and collaborations with fellow influencers. He has built a large following across social media platforms, making his sudden absence noticeable to fans and followers.
