The United States has formally released an updated list containing the names 124 Nigerians facing deportation amid President Donald Trump’s immigration reforms.
The disclosure was made in a statement published on the official website of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security on Wednesday.
The U.S. Department of Homeland Security is highlighting the worst of criminal aliens arrested by the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, ICE.
Reports indicate that the latest measure aligns with the sweeping immigration enforcement policies enacted by U.S. President Donald Trump’s administration following his inauguration on January 20, 2025
“Under DHS leadership, the hard working men and women of DHS and ICE are fulfilling President Trump’s promise and carrying out mass deportations starting with the worst of the worst including the illegal aliens you see here.”

The latest deportation list comes amid the Trump administration’s intensified immigration enforcement campaign, which has seen thousands of undocumented migrants and foreign nationals with criminal convictions targeted for removal from the United States.
Since returning to office, President Donald Trump has expanded immigration raids, tightened asylum policies and urged federal agencies to accelerate deportation proceedings, with several countries, including Nigeria, asked to cooperate in receiving their nationals.
