ACCOUNTS OFFICER (TREASURY OPERATIONS)

• Monitor and manage the organization’s cash flow on a daily basis.
• Maintain accurate financial records, logs, spreadsheets, and registers.
• Ensure efficient management of company bank accounts and funds.

• Reconcile bank statements against the general ledger and clear assigned accounts.
• Provide financial advice to the company, including recommendations to maximize revenue and profit.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and standards.
• Perform cash management, including payment mechanisms and cash transactions.
• Conduct interest and debt analysis, providing relevant reports.
• Coordinate statutory audits and resolve queries.
• Maintain and manage financial records in accordance with IFRS standards.

Educational Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related fields
• 3-5 years of relevant experience.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
• Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Professional Certifications e.g. ICAN is an added advantage
