The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, has again arraigned controversial self-acclaimed relationship expert, Blessing CEO.
Blessing CEO was arraigned before the Federal High Court in Ikoyi, Lagos, on Wednesday, June 10, 2026, over an alleged N13 million cancer fraud and falsification of medical results.
The arraignment followed multiple petitions submitted by individuals and organisations, including the Nigeria Cancer Society.
In a statement shared on its Instagram page, the EFCC disclosed that it filed “a fresh six-count charge bordering on obtaining money by false pretence and retaining the proceeds.”
According to the commission, several individuals allegedly donated money to Blessing CEO after she publicly claimed to be battling Stage 4 breast cancer.
However, investigations reportedly revealed that the medical documents Blessing CEO presented to the public were allegedly falsified.
The latest development comes less than 24 hours after the social media personality was earlier arraigned over an alleged N69.1 million tenancy fraud case.
BACKSTORY…
Blessing CEO’s latest arraignment adds to the growing legal troubles surrounding the controversial social media personality, who has repeatedly made headlines over her online activities and public controversies.
The case stems from claims she allegedly made online that she was battling Stage 4 breast cancer, a development that reportedly attracted sympathy and financial donations from members of the public.
Following the viral posts, concerns were reportedly raised by individuals and groups, including the Nigeria Cancer Society, which questioned the authenticity of the medical documents she shared online.
The matter later attracted the attention of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), which launched an investigation into the allegations.
According to the anti-graft agency, investigations revealed that the medical reports presented by Blessing CEO were allegedly falsified, while funds donated by sympathisers were obtained under false pretence.
The fresh arraignment also comes barely 24 hours after she was separately arraigned over an alleged N69.1 million tenancy fraud, further intensifying public attention on her ongoing legal battles.
