American singer and actress, Ariana Grande has announced plans to withdraw from public appearances and will no longer star in an upcoming musical production in London after her Eternal Sunshine tour next month.
A spokesman for the 33-year-old US singer told People magazine that she “will be taking a step back from visibility” when the tour concludes, citing the “endless, ongoing public scrutiny” her appearances cause.
The group behind a revival of Stephen Sondheim’s Sunday in the Park with George, which plans to run at the Barbican in 2027, stated that she will no longer participate in the production and expressed “complete understanding and support.”
