The Association of Resident Doctors, Federal Capital Territory (ARD-FCT), has begun a seven-day warning strike, (FCT Resident Doctors).
This was announced in a communiqué signed by the association’s President, Dr. George Ebong, along with other executive members.
The FCT resident doctors described the FCT healthcare system as suffering from deep-rooted, long-standing systemic failures that demand urgent and comprehensive reform.
Ebong stressed that doctors in the FCT were under immense pressure, frequently covering multiple departments.
