Fear as a fire destroys an Abuja telecom plant
There was palpable dread as fire overtook a private telecommunications office on Gana Street in Maitama, Abuja.
The fire that broke out on Saturday also destroyed a building that housed a neighborhood diner.
Meanwhile, another structure in Wuse was said to have caught fire.
According to TheCable, the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) fire service’s Asokoro section acknowledged both incidents on Saturday.
The service reported no casualties.
Last Saturday, a fire broke out on a piece of the Lagos blue line track opposite the NEPA station, near the Eko bridge in Lagos’ Apongbon district.
A fire broke out at a lounge and bar on Baale Road in the Olodi Apapa district of the state, killing four people.In the conflagration, the bar’s staff was completely destroyed by fire.
