Petroleum marketers announced that the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) has opened reserves nationwide to address the ongoing fuel scarcity. The Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria and the Petroleum Products Retail Outlets Owners Association of Nigeria confirmed this after meeting with NNPCL officials. They assured the public that fuel will be readily available and urged against panic buying. The associations will convene on Monday to collaborate with NNPCL in resolving the scarcity. Queues have reportedly started to ease off in Abuja, indicating progress.
