NNPCL plans to utilize Nigeria’s vast gas reserves for industrialization.
NNPCL reiterates commitment to using Nigeria’s abundant gas resources for industrialization and economic growth. Oritsemeyiwa Eyesan, NNPCL’s executive vice president for Upstream, emphasized this at the 2024 CERAWeek Conference in Houston, United States. She highlighted Nigeria’s significant gas reserves, aiming to leverage them for domestic industrialization.
Eyesan discussed plans to expand gas utilization across the country and reduce emissions by capturing flared gas for domestic use. She emphasized collaboration among African countries for equitable energy distribution. Eyesan also emphasized NNPC Ltd’s role in energy transition and competitive advantage in defining strategies.
