In a tragic accident that occurred on the Lagos-Ibadan expressway, over 9 people have been feared dead.
According to reports, a Toyota bus with plate number UYY165ZY rammed into a truck with plate number DKA244XC in the early hours on Monday.
Eyewitnesses who were present for questioning by NaijaEyes representatives said they saw the driver of the Toyota Bus lose control and ramm into the truck that was stationary.
The necessary authorities were present on the accident scene to ensure traffic was not obstructed while they controlled the situation.

Florence Okpe, the Spokesperson for the Ogun State Sector Command of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), disclosed to journalists that the accident occurred by 5:30am on Monday morning and that the agency suspects overspeeding as one of the likely causes of the crash.
Okpe said, “The fatal crash occurred in the early hours this morning about 0530HRS on Lagos-Ibadan expressway around Ayetoro area.
“A total of 13 people were involved which comprised of 10 male adults and 03 female adults and 09 were recorded killed (06 male and 03 female) while 03 were injured.
“The suspected causes of the fatal crash were excessive speed and fatigue which led to loss of control and the driver rammed into a station truck.
“The injured victims were taken to Famobis Hospital, Mowe, while the deceased were deposited at Idera morgue, Sagamu.”
The families of the victims have been contacted to notify them of the tragic incident.
