Davido Issues Strong Warning Over False Accusation!
Night-crawling Afrobeats musician David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has issued a stern warning to the famous local Nigerian blog Instablog9ja for disreputably associating his name with the story about an alleged kidnap for false-pretense purposes.
The footage in circulation shows three alleged kidnappers led by one nicknamed “Davido,” who were apprehended by residents of Victory Estate in Ago Palace in Lagos State.
The video went viral on X, previously Twitter, wherein the suspects were bound to the ground as residents took turns interrogating them.
In the video, one of the alleged kidnappers came out to say that his name was Ifeanyi from Anambra State, and the alleged leader concurred with the nickname, saying, “Davido is my nickname. I came to kidnap.” The other two kidnappers claimed to be from Kwara and Imo states, respectively.
Nevertheless, Instablog9ja reported on the same in their social media post with the caption: “Davido and two others apprehended for kidnapping in Lagos.”
