Sky-High Skydiving said: “It is with great sadness that we confirm an incident of tragedy involving a valued member of our community.
“Our heart goes out to her family and friends as they endure this unimaginable loss.

Wrefords’ Farm said: “Sadly, on Sunday, 27/4/25, a lady ended her life after parachute incident/accident. Please join us in saying a prayer to her and her family; we ask the Lord to take her soul to His kingdom in heaven and to give her family strength.
“We ask that privacy be respected by us and the farms in this distressing matter. God bless.”
Devastatingly, said one of her buddies, “Shotton people are devastated and deeply traumatized.”
They told Mail Online: “Everyone is devastated and traumatized by the whole thing, after all, she was so much a part of the skydiving community.
“You should have seen her in the two days preceding her death; she did 11 jumps. She must have done at least 80 this year.”
Said Durham Constabulary:” A woman sadly d!ed following a skydiving incident near Peterlee. Police officers and colleagues from the ambulance service were called to the scene of the incident in Shotton Colliery area Sunday morning at approximately 10:30am.
“Sadly, a woman in her 30s was pronounced dead at the site. Her death is not treated as suspicious, and a file will now be prepared for the coroner.”
