Italian fashion legend Giorgio Armani has passed away at the age of 91.
Renowned as the epitome of Italian elegance, Giorgio Armani revolutionized the fashion world with his clean, minimalist tailoring style.
Born in 1934 in Piacenza, northern Italy, Armani started his career in window dressing before transitioning to fashion design in the 1960s.
Beyond clothing, Armani built one of the most powerful luxury empires in the world, spanning accessories, fragrances, cosmetics, interior design, sports sponsorships, and a chain of exclusive hotels.
In a statement posted on the official Armani Instagram page, the brand said the designer worked until his final days, never slowing down despite his age.
“He was indefatigable to the end,” the tribute read.
Giorgio Armani’s death marks the end of an era for Italian fashion, leaving behind a legacy of elegance, discipline, and global influence that few designers have ever matched.
