Nigerian actress Ini Edo has come under heavy criticism for attending Ghanaian business mogul Richard Nii-Armah Quayee’s birthday party which took place in Ghana.
Ghana was brought to a grinding halt on March 22 over renowned business man, Richard Nii-Armah Quayee’s 40th viral birthday celebration with several notable figures and A-list actors in attendance , including Ini Edo.
Ini Edo was sighted at the event rocking a stoned black two-piece outfit along with a silver handbag. This was coming moments after laying her father to rest.
Following this, an X user identified as Albert Nat Hyde took to his handle to post the video, criticizing the actress Ini Edo over her presence at the birthday party barely twenty four hours after a tearful farewell at her father’s funeral.
Recall that the actress on March 21 laid her father to rest and hosted a befitting funeral in his honour with several Nollywood faces present to support her.
According to the unimpressed X user, Albert Nat Hyde , Ini Edo broke down in tears at her fathers funeral only to fly to Ghana moments after to attend the high-profiled birthday party, stating that all the tears were unreal.
He wrote “Ini Edo buried her dad just yesterday and was all teary. Less than 24 hours, she’s already on a plane to Accra to attend #RNAQ40 birthday party. All the tears were never real? Serious disregard for the dead for a few dollars.”
