The now suspended governor of River State Simanalayi Fubara made his first public appearance since after the emergency rule declaration in the state and his suspension following the political instability in the state.
Fubara who was handed a six month long suspension was sighted at a popular church in the state’s capital, Salvation ministries headquarters at GRA, Port Harcourt.

Joined by some of his supporters and associates, he was welcomed into the service by one of the pastors.
Fubara’s appearance comes nearly a week after Tinubu’s emergency rule declaration and subsequent announcement of his suspension along with his officials , giving rise to the appointment of Vice Admiral Ibas as sole administrator of the state.
Despite facing significant opposition and rejection, the senate ultimately voted unanimously in favor of the decision. The new administrator promptly took office, wasting no time in assuming his new role.

He was sighted in good shape, rocking a white on white senator outfit when he attended the service along with Edison Ehie, his Chief Of staff.
