British Monarch King Charles 111 has openly expressed his admiration for Nigerian Singer David Adeleke popularly known as Davido, revealing that the artist’s music made him develop a love for pidgin English.
During an episode of the Apple Music show ‘The King’s Music Room, which premiered on Monday, King Charles shared his enthusiasm for speaking pidgin when he visits Nigerian next time.
He showcased his diverse tastes in music while mentioning Davido’s song Kante, featuring Fave as one of his favorites.
“Davido has made me love Pidgin language. I would like to speak it the next time I visit Nigeria. Thanks to Afrobeats, it’s becoming more popular around the world,” Charles III stated.
In response Davido reposted the video on his instagram story while giving a shout out to the Loyal family.
