Nigeria enters the good books of history once again as its very own Samuel Nwajaju wins the Mister International 2024. Nwajaju, only 23 years of age and an undergraduate from the University of Port-Harcourt, won the 16th edition of the international pageant in Bangkok, Thailand, on Saturday.
Nwajuju competed against 47 other contestants, which is the highest in history for the competition. Also, the competition allowed fathers, married, and divorced men to compete for the first time in 16 years.
Vietnam’s Nguyễn Mạnh Lân came in as first runner-up, and Indonesia’s Glenn Victor Sutanto was placed second runner-up.
Nwajuju won the 2024 June edition of the Mister of Nigeria title, which led to his participation at the Mister International competition. He succeeds Kim Thitisan Goodburn of Thailand.
The Mister International competition was founded in 2006 by the late Alan Sim. It has notably risen up to other events, such as Man of the World, Mister World, Mister Grand World International, and Mister Global.
