Founder of Christ Mercyland Deliverance Ministry, Pastor Jeremiah Omoto Fufeyin, has donated N5 million to the family of the late Nollywood actor Mr. Ibu. The donation aims to support the actor’s burial preparations.
Mr. Ibu, whose real name is John Okafor, will be buried in his hometown, Amuri, in Nkanu West Local Government Area of Enugu State, following a five-day funeral service starting on June 25.
The burial ceremony includes a novelty match, a candlelight procession, live entertainment, a Christian wake, and a church thanksgiving.
Pastor Fufeyin announced the donation in his church after the Actors Guild of Nigeria sought his support. He allocated N2 million to Mr. Ibu’s family and N3 million for the burial arrangements.
