“Pay Up!” IVD Confronts Davido Over N5.5M Car Balance
Celebrated Nigerian car dealer IVD has accused singer Davido of owing him 5.5 million naira after paying just 1 million naira out of the 6.5 million naira for a car meant for the aide, Israel DMW.
Recall that Blessing CEO called out Davido for failing to pay the debt on behalf of his aide, Israel DMW, who had gotten a car.
However, later IVD Motors denied the claim stating that Davido has paid the complete bill and apologizes to Blessing CEO for not updating her about the payment.
IVD Motors initially denied the debt, claiming that Davido has settled his bill and apologized to Blessing CEO for not updating her about the payment.
But a few months later, IVD made a U-turn in a viral audio making rounds online and alleged that Davido only paid about N1 million out of the N6.5 million for the 2009 Venza purchased for Israel DMW.
In the audio, IVD said that although he once again called for the balance, he was only told to send his account details and then nothing was received.
