Peter Okoye responds to twin brother Paul, saying he’s not responsible for Jude’s legal problems.
Peter Okoye, a former member of the now-defunct music group P-Square, has denied any involvement in his elder brother Jude Okoye’s ongoing legal issues.
According to a report, Paul Okoye, the other half of the P-square duo, accused his twin brother Peter on Friday of attempting to have their elder brother and former manager Jude imprisoned.
Following the court section on Friday, Paul in an interview with the press, pledged to ensure Jude’s release.
In response to Paul’s claims, Peters manager, Emen Kush, stated in an interview with Saturday beat,
“ I don’t think Peter has any comments on this issue, because the case is based on the EFCC investigation, and Jude Okoye. I don’t see what Peter Okoye has to do with it.
“Peter’s petition was only against the company that has been receiving funds on his behalf. So, don’t mix up issues or create issues where they are not.
“The EFCC was the one that received all of this, so it’s best to speak to them to know their findings.”
Jude was remanded in prison on Friday by the Federal High Court in Ikoyi, Lagos over an alleged N1.38billion fraud charge filed by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
