Reality TV star and former Big Brother Naija winner, Phyna, recently found herself at the center of a social media storm after being denied entry to Kaly Restaurant and Bar Lounge in Lagos.
The upscale establishment, located on Victoria Island, cited her outfit as a violation of their dress code policy.
Taking to her X account (formerly Twitter), Phyna expressed her frustration about the incident, which occurred over the weekend.
She shared a video of herself in the outfit—a black backless gown that revealed her chest and cleavage—and recounted how she was turned away at the restaurant’s entrance.
In her post, she wrote, “So I went to have dinner at one CALI RESTAURANT Abi what they call the place 😂😂😂 omo they said I’m dressed indecently and I can’t enter o. WTF!!!!!”
The reality star’s lighthearted tone quickly gave way to heated debates online, as fans and critics shared their opinions on the matter.
