The arrest of Kabiru Adamu, also known as “Suck and Die,” a suspected drug dealer in the state, has been reported by the Bauchi State Police Command. even though it claimed to have launched an investigation to find the other suspects and retrieve more stolen goods from alleged criminal elements in the state.

According to a statement released on Tuesday by Ahmed Wakil, the command’s Police Public Relations Officer, members of the Rapid Response Squad, under the command of Commander CSP Suleiman M. Tambuwal, detained the suspected dealer of Diamond Rubber Solution and methylene chloride (A50), also referred to as “Suck and Die,” at Tudun Wadan Dan Iya (Bayani Gari), Bauchi State, on Friday.

He stated, “264 pieces of OSHN Diamond Rubber Solution, 19 30ml bottles of suspected methylene chloride (“Suck and Die”), and 363 empty bottles were recovered during the raid, which led to the arrest of Kabiru Adamu “m” in the Igbo Quarters.”

According to Wakil, the suspect admitted after questioning that he got the things from his boss and got compensated for selling them. He further acknowledged that each piece of Diamond Rubber Solution sold for N250, while each bottle of “Suck and Die” cost N300. In a related event, the PPRO revealed that a suspect in a number of crimes, including theft, trespassing, criminal conspiracy, key fabrication, and store breaking, had been apprehended.

He said, “On November 11, 2024, the suspect, a 23-year-old man named Ukasha Adamu, who lived near Ajiya Adamu Road in the city of Bauchi, was taken into custody. The State Intelligence Department’s thorough investigation, which revealed a convoluted network of illegal activity, led to Adamu’s detention.

According to the release, research showed that “The suspect and his accomplices had been systematically surveilling various stores in Bauchi metropolitan, inspecting keyholes, and replicating keys to access stores and steal valuable properties,” according to the statement.

According to Wakil, the recovered products included 42 cartons of liquid fertilizer for product, priced at N5,040,000; 20 cartons of Emperor vegetable oil, valued at N1,440,000; 43 cartons of I.R.S. spaghetti, valued at N774,000; and 150 bags of 25 kg parboiled rice, valued at N6 million. According to the PPRO, the total worth of the recovered commodities is roughly N13,254,000.”The public should continue to be alert and report any suspicious activities to the nearest police station,” he added.
