Fake news exposed: Atiku Abubakar’s camp strongly denies shocking claims of illness, says ex-VP is hale and active

The media office of former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has dismissed reports claiming that the African Democratic Congress (ADC) chieftain is ill.

An online publication had earlier alleged that Atiku Abubakar fell sick over the weekend and was placed on bed rest by his doctors.

However, in a statement issued on Monday night, his media office described the report as false and misleading, insisting that the former Vice President is in good health.

The statement further noted that the ADC frontline presidential aspirant is actively involved in preparations for the party’s screening and upcoming primary election.

It urged the public to ignore what it called a “mischievous report,” stressing that Atiku Abubakar remains strong, focused, and fully engaged with his political commitments.
