Former Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, Isa Pantami, has vowed to strongly resist what he described as injustice within the All Progressives Congress over the party’s governorship consensus in Gombe State.
Pantami stated that he is prepared to go to any length in challenging the decision, insisting he would secure the party’s governorship ticket if a direct primary election is held.

Speaking in an interview with BBC Hausa, the former minister said:
“I will challenge this injustice surrounding the APC governorship consensus in Gombe, no matter the cost. If it is a direct primary, everyone knows we will win.
“If justice is denied, I will pursue the matter legally and fight it in a way Nigeria has never witnessed before.”
