Hardship: Speed Darlington blasts Tinubu’s re-election bid, warns second term will be “hellfire”

Controversial singer Speed Darlington has blasted President Bola Tinubu over his re-election ambition, describing a possible second term as “hell fire” for Nigerians.

In a video shared on his Instagram page on Wednesday, the outspoken singer questioned Tinubu’s achievements since taking office in 2023, citing worsening insecurity, economic hardship, policy failures and rising fuel prices.

Speed Darlington criticised the removal of fuel subsidy, arguing that the decision worsened the cost of living and gave marketers the freedom to inflate fuel prices across the country.

President Tinubu signs N68.32 trillion 2026 budget to accelerate national development.

According to him, Tinubu has not done enough to tackle the country’s growing insecurity and economic struggles, insisting that the president is no longer qualified for another term in office.
