There was a strong security presence on Thursday at the Plateau State High Court in Jos as the state government arraigned four individuals allegedly linked to the deadly Palm Sunday attack in the Angwan Rukuba area of Jos North Local Government Area.
The suspects were arrested by the Department of State Services between April 3 and April 10, 2026, and were brought before the court under tight security to prevent any disruption of proceedings.
Court sessions commenced shortly after the defendants arrived at the Plateau State High Court of Justice around 9:20 a.m., with security personnel deployed both داخل and around the court premises.

The Plateau State Government charged the suspects with offences including criminal conspiracy and terrorism in connection with the attack.
Those arraigned include Isa Umar Ibrahim, Auwalu Abubakar, also known as Auwalu Dogo, Musa Abubakar Ibrahim, also called Yaroro, and one other individual.
